If you require a "Minor Unit" for a relative or quite simply a "Rentable"* flat, this Building Plan Range provides full working drawings for 13 Habitable* Units, ranging from 36.0m² to 59.4m².

All of these buildings are self contained and are potentially "Rentable"*, starting with an open plan "Apartment" full design - extending to a 1 Bedroom Dwelling. Simple design, easy to build, fully detailed.

· "Rentable" - Dwellings other than the main residence, usually need to be sited on a subdividable property. The Territorial Authority (Council) will have certain guidelines for this.

"Habitable" - Any room which is intended for sleeping (or possible sleeping) purposes. Ie: Bedrooms, Lounges, Family Room, Rumpus or Games Room.

EACH GARAPLAN REQUIRES A SITE LAYOUT DRAWING - FOR BUILDING CONSENT - COMPLETE WITH CONTOURS, EXISTING CONSTRUCTION ON THE PROPERTY, THE GARAPLAN BUILDING YOU HAVE SELECTED WITH LOCATION DETAILS AND DRAINAGE DESIGN. IF THE SITE LAYOUT DRAWING IS PREPARED BY SDS DESIGN, WE WILL CONVERT THE GARAPLANS TO INCLUDE YOUR SITE SPECIFIC AND BUILDING DESIGN OPTIONS. IF A GARAPLAN IS PRESENTED FOR BUILDING CONSENT WITH A SITE PLAN & DRAINAGE ETC NOT DRAWN BY SDS DESIGN LTD, WE CAN TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SUITABILITY OR SUCCESS OF THE APPLICATION.

The GaraPlan drawings are designed in a manner which enables them to be Pre-approved by "COMPASS BUILDING CERTIFIERS LTD" ((09) 262-2201). This ensures that your certification fees can be kept to a minimum.
